Biography

Dr. Paul S. Chinowsky is Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder and the Director of Resilient Analytics, Inc. He has been working in the field of infrastructure and climate change since 2006 and his climate impact analysis work has been applied in over 50 countries. He works with public and private clients on the potential impacts of climate change and the risks to short-term and long-term operations. Dr. Chinowsky works with clients to determine specific operational risks from these impacts including delays in operations, facility shutdowns, and supply chain interruptions. He has been an author on both the IPCC and National Climate Assessment reports in the area of infrastructure. Dr. Chinowsky’s work has been featured in media outlets including the New York Times, NPR, CNN, and the BBC.
