Biography

Dr. Gorm Heron has 30 years of thermal remediation experience, with expertise in thermal conduction heating (TCH), electrical resistance heating (ERH), steam enhanced extraction (SEE), and combined remedies. Dr. Heron serves as a thermal remediation expert advisor to the U.S. Department of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency, as well as other federal agencies, state governments and private corporations. As Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Heron leads TRS Group's technology department. Further, he is active in the research and development of treatment options for PFAS-impacted soil and water.
