Biography

Nikki has been an Environmental Engineer at Jacobs since 2020. She is primarily interested in projects with contaminants of emerging concern and has supported a variety of PFAS related projects while at Jacobs. Prior to her career at Jacobs she obtained her PhD from the University of Minnesota in 2017 for her work on the effect of PFAS on microbial membranes. She was a postdoctoral researcher at Colorado School of Mines between 2017 and 2019 where she researched the removal of trace organic contaminants in stormwater bioretention systems.
