Biography
John works as head of the R&D department of Greensoil, an innovative remediation company specialized in bioremediation. Greensoil has offices in Europe and Brazil and is operating all over the world. John has a PhD in environmental microbiology and works in the field of bioremediation for 17 years now. As a biology student he got intrigued by biodegradation and still is almost 30 years later. John is interested in microbial biodegradation and conversion of contaminants and unraveling the underlying pathways with others. With this knowledge he likes to help with developing innovative bioremediation techniques to make the earth a cleaner place.
