Biography

Song Jin is a Principal Scientist at Advanced Environmental Technologies, LLC (Fort Collins, Colorado) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wyoming. He has over 30 years of experience in the development and implementation of innovative remediation technologies. Dr. Jin is a pioneer and leading practitioner in bioelectrochemical redox techniques (E-Redox®) for in situ remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, particularly in challenging geologic settings such as clay formations and fractured bedrock. He has led the implementation of E-Redox® technology at more than 100 field sites across the United States and 3 other countries. Dr. Jin received his Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1997. He has authored over 110 peer-reviewed journal articles, 4 book chapters, and more than 150 conference papers, and holds 49 U.S. and international patents.
