Biography

Faezeh Pazoki is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Engineering at McGill University, under the supervision of Prof. Jinxia Liu. Her research interests focus on innovative water and wastewater treatment processes, particularly on addressing emerging contaminants through catalytic and sorptive approaches. Currently, Her research focuses on utilizing natural and modified clay minerals to remove PFAS from contaminated matrices. Previously, Faezeh conducted research on photocatalytic water treatment and nanocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction during her Master's studies at the University of Tehran and University of Zurich. Faezeh is actively involved in the McGill community holding various leadership positions within student organizations.
