Biography

Mark is an environmental scientist at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, where he has worked on understanding the fate and degradation of chlorinated solvents in ground water. He is currently studying pharmaceuticals and other chemicals of emerging concern in Minnesota’s lakes and rivers. Mark has BS and MS degrees in microbiology and environmental microbiology, both from the University of Minnesota.
