Biography

My name is Farah Ali Ahmad. I am a PhD candidate at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the American University of Beirut, specializing in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering, with a background in biology and microbiology. My primary research focus lies in investigating the fate and bioremediation strategies for Emerging Organic Pollutants and examining their interactions in relation to microplastic pollution. Through my work, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of environmental dynamics and advance sustainable solutions for water quality management.
