Biography

Joann Dyson is an Environmental Specialist with GHD based in Durham, North Carolina. She has been with GHD for 5 years as a member of the NAPL technical group but has been consulting on NAPL sites for over 20 years. Her work includes characterization of NAPL sites and the development of management strategies, with a focus on sustainable risk-based solutions. In addition to her work at GHD, Joann has been involved in the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC) for over 7 years, assisting with technical guidance preparation and providing training. She has a B.S. in physics from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Georgia.
