Biography

Mr. Recla currently serves as the Field Operations Manager and Radiation Safety Officer at Ninyo & Moore, located in Irvine, California. Having worked in the Materials Testing and Special Inspection field for the past 28 years, Mr. Recla has also conducted drone surveys for various clients having earned his Part 107 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Commercial Drone Pilot license from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2018. With hundreds of flight hours logged across numerous construction, geotechnical, material testing, and environmental projects, Mr. Recla has a wealth of experience. Beyond capturing traditional oblique aerial imagery and HD video, he has applied his drone piloting skills to document project conditions and conduct site inspections. Furthermore, he has employed advanced Real Time Kinematic (RTK)/Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data acquisition technology to significantly enhance the precision of drone-based projects.
