Biography

Ms. Sophia Lee is a remedial technical manager and registered professional geologist for the Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command’s Southwest Region (NAVFAC SW). Since joining NAVFAC, she has provided technical support for multiple remediation projects, large and small, as well as support for groundwater modeling and emerging contaminants. In addition to groundwater modeling, Ms. Lee has also been involved in well installation and aquifer testing of groundwater wells for both remote and urban environments. Ms. Lee received her undergraduate degrees in Geology and Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College and her Master’s in Hydrological Sciences and Engineers from the Colorado School of Mines.
