Biography

Environmental Engineer, specialization degree in Contaminated Area Management and Contaminated Area Remediation. Experience in complex cases of environmental liabilities. Works for a wide variety of industrial clients, focusing mainly on environmental investigation work, human health risk assessment, vapor intrusion studies and high-resolution technologies, with application in diagnostic work and the interaction and behavior of contaminants in the subsurface environment. . Cristina also participates in the design and development of remediation projects involving physical (MPE, DPE, SVE), chemical (ISCR, ISCO), microbiological techniques and remediation trains, involving combination and application of multiple techniques, simultaneously or in sequence, with a focus on reduction mass and case closure. She has presented and published works in the environmental area, both at national and international events, mainly related to the topic of vapor intrusion, high-resolution investigations and combination of remediation techniques. Teacher of the specialization professional develpment program in Contaminated Area Management since 2017, in subjects related to the methodological aspects of Contaminated Area Management, Preliminary Assessment, Screening techniques and Vapor Intrusion.
