Biography

Mr. John Anderson is a Principal Wastewater Engineer with Arcadis who has extensive experience in the evaluation; design; operations, maintenance and monitoring; and optimization of remediation systems for contaminated sites. Most recently, Mr. Anderson has developed expertise in the evaluation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS)-impacted source waters, bench- and pilot-testing design and strategy, and subsequent treatment system design. Mr. Anderson is the North American technical lead on field execution of foam transition and cleaning of PFAS-impacted infrastructure, building on existing development of Arcadis Fluoro FighterTM cleaning agent, and has implemented cleaning activities across sectors on various types of PFAS-impacted infrastructure.
