Biography

Garry is a Principal Environmental Consultant at Helia EHS with a diverse background in geoscientific land assessment, including 4 years working in the mining industry and 22 years as an environmental management consultant with experience across a wide range of disciplines and industry sectors. Garry graduated with a B.Sc (hons) in geology from Monash University in 1995 and a MEnvSc in hydrogeology from the University of Melbourne in 2011. Garry is Project Manager and Project Director on various Contaminated Land Management site assessment and remediation projects, providing guidance and mentoring support across the practice. Other project-related input is provided across the Environmental Health and Occupational Hygiene business unit, particularly in the areas of OHS management and hazardous materials auditing. He leads the Occupational Health and Safety Committee responsible for driving continuous improvement of internal OHS management systems under the Helia’s ISO 14001 accredited Integrated Management System.
