Biography

Dr. Francine Kelly-Hooper is the GHD Canadian Sediment Lead and Petroleum Hydrocarbon Subject Matter Expert. Francine has studied sediment contamination sources and beneficial reuse solutions to waste disposal for over 30 years. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada, which developed the Biogenic Interference Calculation (BIC) for eliminating false petroleum hydrocarbon detections due the presence of natural organic matter which has been used throughout Canada, the US and Australia.
