Biography

I am a PhD candidate in the laboratory of Professor Jinxia Liu at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where the primary research focus is the fate and transport of poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the environment. My research interests are centered on the microbial biotransformation of PFAS precursors in Aqueous Film-Forming Foams (AFFF). Specifically, my work aims to elucidate biotransformation pathways, identify functional genes, and predict the enzymes involved in the transformation of these precursors.
