Biography

Dr. Janet Anderson is a Board-certified toxicologist via the American Board of Toxicology and is Vice President and a Principal Toxicologist at GSI Environmental. She completed her graduate and post-graduate work at the University of Cincinnati and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, respectively. She began her career helping guide the U.S. Department of Defense's strategy for unregulated chemicals, including the use of PFAS at military sites around the country. Since joining the consulting sector in 2015, Dr. Anderson has specialized in helping clients with chemical risk management, compliance, site-specific risk assessments, and improving corporate environmental and public health stewardship. A skilled communicator, Dr. Anderson also serves as a testifying expert and supports clients in legal, regulatory, legislative, and public stakeholder engagements.
