Biography

SENIOR HYDROGEOLOGIST - Michael has over 40 years of experience managing hydrogeologic investigations and remediation programs at industrial sites impacted by chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs), petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs), metals, pesticides, and perchlorate and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). As a senior hydrogeologist to the ONEIDA family of companies, he provides technical oversight, strategy, and direction for the development of site conceptual models, feasibility studies of remedial alternatives, corrective action plans and the implementation of remedial actions. He also has experience in water resource management having evaluated surface and groundwater resources to identify feasible short-term and long-term water supply alternatives for contaminated wells, provided groundwater basin storage and safe-yield assessments, designed, and installed water supply wells. Mr. Flack has also served as project manager and technical lead for multiple groundwater modeling projects to evaluate a range of hydrogeologic problems, including safe-yield assessments and contaminant capture studies for hydraulic containment programs.
