Biography

Steve Becker is the Technical Director for OEC Process. Mr. Becker is a Certified Environmental Professional with more than 30 years’ experience in the environmental industry and has been managing the investigation, treatment, and remediation of PFAS in soil, water and wastewater applications since 2014. In addition to providing expertise in emerging contaminant treatment for OEC, Steve is an Affiliate Research Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has served on the PFAS Work Groups for the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC) in the U.S. and the Network for Industrially Co-ordinated Sustainable Land Management in Europe (NICOLE), and the Emerging Contaminants Special Interest Group of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA).
