Biography

Amy Jimmo is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Soil Science at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research involves optimizing in situ bioremediation solutions for cold region calcareous soils. Amy’s education also includes a diploma in Biological Sciences Technology, a B.Sc. in Biology, and a M.Sc. in Toxicology; giving her a solid background in both academic and technical science with a number of publications and presentations. Amy is also the Director of Remediation at Environmental Material Solutions Inc. (EMS) where she helps customers design site specific remediation solutions using innovative technologies and tools.
