Biography

Senior Environmental Scientist at Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI) 2000, MS, Environmental Management, Hardin-Simmons University 1997, BS, Environmental Science, McMurry University (first graduate in the ES program) Kara began her career with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in 1998. Since then, she has worked as a civilian compliance assistance specialist for the USAF, in private industry for a fiberglass manufacturing plant, and has spent the last 16 years in consulting with FNI, managing multiple on-call environmental contracts for both private and municipal clients. For the last 11 years, Kara has worked to expand FNI's presence in aviation, holding on-call environmental contracts with San Antonio Airport System and Houston Airport System, and is currently providing support to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
