Biography

Andrew leads GHD Advisory's practice in critical infrastructure and national security. He delivers strategic technical policy advice projects requiring complex engagement across the Australian federal government, state and territory governments, local governments and utilities, and with the private sector. He has led and delivered projects in water treatment chemicals supply chain resilience energy sector cybersecurity, maritime security, diplomatic property and critical minerals policy. Andrew holds a Master of Arts (Editing and Communications) and a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing), both from the University of Melbourne, and has lectured at the National Security College of the Australian National University. Andrew is interested in effective national security policy implementation at the intersection of local, state and territory, and federal governments, and how the community and society at large plays a crucial role.
