Biography

Dr. Priscilla Viana is a Principal Environmental Engineer and the In-Situ Amendment and Sediment Capping Community of Practice lead for Arcadis. She serves as a sediment technical expert and peer reviewer for environmental projects both in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Viana specializes in remediation of contaminated sediments and water quality, providing strategic and technical expertise on sediment capping, in-situ amendment, and ebullition-facilitated NAPL and contaminant transport. She has been author or co-author of over 40 publications, conference presentations, and technical panels. She is a contributor to ASTM sediment remediation standards and the ITRC Sediment Cap Chemical Isolation guidance.
