Biography

Dr. Jennifer Miller is a Research Environmental Engineer with the USACE Environmental Laboratory in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Dr. Miller sits in Chicago and has spent the last 25 years working on a variety of Great Lakes problems – many of those years with the USACE Chicago District. Her favorite projects involve sediment (clean and contaminated), beneficial use of sediment, and Engineering with Nature projects. She is also involved in the Great Lakes Coastal Resiliency Study. Dr. Miller holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University, and a master’s and PhD in environmental engineering for the University of Illinois. She is a licensed engineer.
