Biography

Elizabeth J. Biddinger is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at The City College of New York, CUNY, where she has been on the faculty since 2012. She is an associate editor of ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and the Deputy Director of the Center for Decarbonizing Chemical Manufacturing Using Sustainable Electrification. Prof. Biddinger is the recipient of the 2018 US Department of Energy Early Career Award, the 2016 ECS-Toyota Young Investigator Award, and the 2014 CUNY Junior Faculty in Research Award in Science and Engineering sponsored by the Sloan Foundation. Prior to joining CCNY, Prof. Biddinger was a post-doctoral fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology. She obtained her PhD in 2010 from The Ohio State University and her BS in 2005 from Ohio University, both in chemical engineering.
