Biography

Tristan Bannon is Leidos’ Executive Director for Resilient Energy Infrastructure. Leidos is a Fortune 500 global engineering and technology firm with 47,000 employees and $15.4B in annual revenues. In this role Tristan is responsible for developing integrated technology solutions to assist public and private sector organizations in rapidly deploying clean and resilient energy infrastructure solutions securely and at scale. Prior to this role, Tristan developed and executed Leidos’ corporate strategy to help Leidos’ clients mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change. His primary areas of responsibility were Leidos’ investments and projects in resilient energy infrastructure, Federal sustainability, and climate data analytics. He was instrumental in leading Leidos’ activities to plan and develop infrastructure for mission-critical organizations’ transition to Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEVs), achieve grid independence, and successfully integrate renewables. In addition to his role at Leidos, Tristan serves as the Chair of the Washington Executive Climate Change Council. In this role he is responsible for planning and overseeing council activities focused on connecting Public and Private Sector executives focused on the intersection of climate change and regulated industries. Tristan regularly speaks at conferences, working groups, and trade associations on the intersection of national security, Federal investment, and energy and climate technologies. Prior to joining Leidos, Tristan served at CACI International, Fortune 500 National Security systems integrator, most recently as a Vice President in their Engineering Solutions and Services operating group where over five years he was instrumental in leading a team to secure over $5B in new funded contracts. Prior to that Tristan spent over ten years in leadership, management, growth, and engineering roles at other technology companies including Lockheed Martin. His roles of increasing responsibility included contracts management, profit and loss management, research and development, software engineering, and all aspects of growth and corporate development. Tristan is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership Development Program and the University of Virginia Darden School of Executive Development’s Leading Organizations program. Tristan holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He resides in Arlington, VA.
