Biography

Dr. Massoud Agahi is an adjunct faculty member in the Public Health Program of the College of Health and Human Development at California State University, Northridge. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery and practices in Los Angeles, CA. As a clinical and public health practitioner, educator, and researcher with broad experience serving socioeconomically disadvantaged communities, Dr. Agahi’s career over the past nearly three decades provides him with a wealth of resources to advance his current primary endeavor: promoting Community Health Workers in the mainstream workforce as an effective pathway toward advancing health equity and climate resilience, as well as the “Triple Aim” of the American healthcare system. He is a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine and the Executive MPH Program at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy & Management.
