Background/Objectives
The PFAS landscape has changed dramatically since EPA released its initial PFAS destruction and disposal interim guidance in 2020. Pending regulations and emerging technologies create challenges and offer solutions across the environmental sector.
Approach/Activities
This presentation will include new information and tools introduced in EPA’s Interim Guidance on the Destruction and Disposal of Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances and Materials Containing Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances—Version 2 (2023).
