Biography

With more than 35 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment, Steve Woodard serves as the Chief Innovation Officer at Onterris (NYSE: ONT). In this role, he leads the commercialization of advanced synthetic media technologies designed to address PFAS, 1,4 dioxane, specialty VOCs, and other emerging contaminants. Throughout his career, he has shared his expertise globally through technical presentations, invited lectures, and expert panel discussions. His work has resulted in more than 30 patents spanning water, wastewater, groundwater, and vapor treatment technologies. He has also contributed extensively to the scientific community as an author of journal articles and textbook chapters. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University.
