Biography

Dr. Raymond H. Johnson is currently a senior geochemist/hydrogeologist with RSI as a contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management. For the past 10 years he has provided expertise on the transport of uranium in legacy plumes at a variety of Legacy Management sites with a focus on reactive transport modeling. Dr. Johnson’s past experience includes 15 years at the U.S. Geological Survey, where he worked on uranium transport in groundwater related to uranium mining sites and reactive transport of metals at abandoned hard rock mines. Dr. Johnson received a Ph.D. in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado, USA and a Master’s Degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
