Biography

Mr. Penzone is a hydrogeologist of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control for the past three years focusing on the State’s PFAS response with the Remediation Section. Mike has 20 years in the industry and previously worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in the Southeast region working on Brownfield sites, LUST sites, and Federal Facilities. He also served as Geotechnical consultant and Environmental consultant in the oil and gas industry. Mike posses a Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, is a licensed professional geologist in both Delaware and Pennsylvania, currently serves on the ITRC PFAS Team and is the Co-Team lead for the Passive Sampling Technology Update.
