Biography
(1) I am a Principal Scientist at Faraday Technology, an electrochemical engineering firm located near Dayton, OH. I lead Faraday's R&D programs focused on PFAS remediation in water and soil, development of manufacturing methods for fusion/fission reactor components, and carbon fiber composite recycling. (2) I received my B.S. in Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology in 2015 and my PhD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. As a graduate student, I studied the fundamental mechanisms of electrochemically-triggered molecular catalysts for fuel-forming reactions under the direction of Professor Jillian Dempsey.
