Karnam Ramanand is a Supervising Scientist with more than 25 years of environmental experience implementing a wide range of in situ and ex situ remediation technologies. His expertise includes soil and groundwater remediation, in situ biotreatment, monitored natural attenuation, subsurface microbiology, in situ biogeochemical transformations, chemical oxidation and reduction, emerging contaminants, industrial water treatment technical support, pilot study support, and environmental forensics applications. Karnam holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science and Microbiology from the Central Rice Research Institute in Cuttack, India, and completed post-doctoral research in the Department of Botany and Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
