Biography

Principal Engineer. Ravi Bhatia has more than 25 years of project/program management experience in areas as diverse as midstream and downstream petroleum; environmental permitting and compliance; brownfields redevelopment; food, beverage, and flavor manufacturing; engineering emission control; regulatory and technical evaluation of industrial and biotechnical processes and operations; demand-side energy generation and reduction; greenhouse gas reporting and reduction strategies; and regulatory and land use negotiations. He advises a wide array of petroleum, refining, and industrial clients on integration of environmental process and performance enhancements. He has individual and team experience with rapid deployment for assessment and auditing of discrete events and continuous improvement processes. Mr. Bhatia conducts environmental, health, and safety; process engineering; operational safety; and security audits/assessments of individual and portfolio-wide facilities for confidential clients in the petroleum, healthcare, finance, and technology sectors and defense nuclear complex. He is effective at communicating regulatory citations, specific nonconformance findings, and corrective actions that are practical and actionable, and that address root causes from assessment through final closeout. Ravi is most interested in effective compliance, technical, and business strategies that will become (increasingly) necessary as environmental justice initiatives proliferate. He is skilled at identifying liabilities associated with environmental and development matters, and in providing solution strategies that allow entities to focus on improving their balance sheets and advance industrial safety.
