Biography

Kara Hitchko is a scientist and an Associate Principal with Floyd|Snider, a Seattle based consulting firm. Kara has 13 years of experience in environmental consulting, working on issues related to in-water and upland environmental investigation and remediation projects under the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). She holds a Master of Science in Toxicology from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Western Washington University. Kara is a specialist in sediment investigations at mining-impacted sites and is committed to developing innovative, science-based solutions tailored to client and stakeholder needs.
