Biography

Mark Gravelding is a Senior Vice President and National Technical expert for Sediment Remediation with 35 years experience at Arcadis in Syracuse, NY. He provides engineering services specializing in contaminated sediment investigation, evaluation, and remedial design. His experience includes the development of environmental strategies, design and implementation of sampling programs, preparation of remedial investigation/feasibility studies, corrective measures studies, remedial design work plans and reports, contract documents, and implementation of long-term monitoring programs. Relevant elements of his remedial design and implementation experience include shoreline containment systems, sediment removal/dredging, and cap design, as well as bank, floodplain and wetland remediation and restoration.
