Biography

Wendy Hovel is a senior scientist at Geosyntec and ecotoxicologist with more than 19 years of experience working on the assessment and management of contaminated sites. She has managed or provided technical expertise on numerous multi-disciplinary investigations throughout North America. Her projects cover a wide range of topics including beneficial use investigations, ecological risk assessment, total maximum daily loads (TMDLs), bioaccumulation and wildlife models, and strategic risk management planning. Wendy's education includes a PhD from UC Davis (toxicology), an MS in Marine Science, and a BA in Biology.
