Biography

Michael Donovan, PhD is responsible for the Research and Development capabilities of Minerals Technologies, Environmental and Infrastructure division (CETCO). He leads the company’s innovation initiatives in Building Materials, Environmental Products, Drilling Products and Water and Remediation since 2014. He is a member of the company’s Technology Lead Team, having first joined the company in 2007 as a Senior Research Associate in the CETCO Division. Prior to joining MTI, Michael worked at General Electric Plastics (SABIC-IP) as a Lead Scientist, Product Development (High Performance Polymers) and Platform Chemist (Crystalline Polymer Products) He holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Science from St. Norbert College and a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi and has issued 48 patents. Michael is a Certified Six Sigma Green belt
