Biography

Karen C. Saucier PhD, serves as Vice-President and Deputy National Practice Leader within TRC’s Engineering, Construction & Remediation business unit. Since joining the company in 1990, Dr. Saucier has worked extensively in the areas of complex upland and sediment remediation with a focus on human health and ecological risk assessments and risk-based decision making. Dr. Saucier’s academic career has included postdoctoral research at the University of Miami School of Medicine and research/teaching positions at Clemson University. Karen holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Clemson University and a BA in Biology from University of North Carolina at Asheville.
