Biography

Senior Project Manager and Technical Coordinator Erin has approximately 20 years of experience investigating and developing strategies for multi-stakeholder contaminated sediment, soil, and groundwater sites. Erin specializes in performing technical data analysis and developing innovative presentation techniques to convey strategies and solutions that assist clients in overcoming regulatory and technical challenges to meet business, legal, and policy objectives. As the senior technical coordinator for the Portland Harbor Superfund Site River Mile 9 West sediment remedial design (RD) project being conducted under an Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent between the USEPA and FMC Corporation, she has guided the team throughout preparation of various RD deliverables including evaluating potential on-going sources of recontamination, identifying data gaps necessary to develop RD, designing and implementing multi-media Pre-Design Investigations (PDIs), using innovative techniques to re-define the areas requiring active remediation, and developing the Basis of Design Report and Remedial Design Work Plan. Erin leads external meetings with all stakeholders, including negotiations with the USEPA and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. She is also project manager and a technical sediment lead for the investigation, design, and remediation at a former manufactured gas plant site in Superior, WI which aims to clean up upland soil and groundwater and adjacent sediment impacted with PAHs.
