Biography

Mr. Grasso is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting's Environmental Solutions practice. He has a BA in Geology from Skidmore College and an MS in Geology from Boston College. He has more than 25 years of experience as an environmental professional overseeing site investigation and remediation activities at state and federally regulated hazardous waste sites. Since 2006 Mr. Grasso has focused on cost allocations and cost recovery matters under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (“CERCLA”) representing joint defense groups associated with multi-party sediment cleanup sites. Mr. Grasso works as part of a multidisciplinary neutral allocation team tasked with apportioning investigation and remediation costs at complex sediment sites to the appropriate potentially responsible parties (PRPs) who have chosen to engage in a mediation process to avoid litigation.
