Biography

Senior Environmental Professional Engineer, Yakama Nation Fisheries Program Through the Yakama Nation, Laura works to advance protective cleanups at priority contaminated sites throughout the Columbia River Basin. Our focus is on sites with ongoing toxicity exposure to Tribal Treaty Resources, ESA listed species, aquatic resources, and human health. In all projects we strive to ensure Tribal representation, protection of Treaty Rights and Resources, application of defensible science and required regulations, and implementation of protective cleanups that are compatible with habitat improvements. In addition, Laura and her team collaborate in the development of a Columbia River Basin-wide fish tissue, water quality, and sediment long-term monitoring program. Education: B.S.
