Biography

Mr. Salcedo is a Coastal Engineer at Coast and Harbor Engineering. He has over a decade of professional experience and in coastal engineering analysis and design, maritime studies, and computational fluid dynamics. The processes Mr. Salcedo has simulated and analyzed entails hydrodynamics and hydraulics, tidal and estuary circulation, swell and wind waves, tsunami prediction, river flows, hydrology, sediment transport, morphology, and providing coastal structural loads as well as passing vessel wakes and long waves, static/dynamic mooring, ship maneuvering and berthing, dredging, propeller wash, scour protection, and shoreline protection. He has extensively implemented many advanced numerical coastal modelling systems and multi-model coupling (hydrodynamic, wave, and runup models).
