Biography

Peter Guerra is an environmental engineer with a master’s degree in environmental engineering from New Mexico Tech. While in graduate school, Peter collaborated with Dr. Rebecca Reiss on bioremediation research using molecular biology techniques like PCR and proteomics. This partnership has led to groundbreaking work in applying “omics” to groundwater bioremediation, spanning projects at Superfund sites, National Laboratories, and rural gasoline stations. Their collaborative efforts continue to advance the field through innovative research and practical applications.
