Biography

Mr. Andre Tartre received a master's degree in industrial safety and hygiene from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières in 1984. He received his certification in industrial hygiene from the “American Board of Industrial Hygiene” in 1989. He subsequently worked in various government departments and private companies. From 1993 to 2002, I was involved in “soil gas sampling” projects. He received three (3) US Patents during this period. Since 2003, he has been an occupational hygiene consultant. He has worked on projects on four (4) continents. More specifically, he was responsible for Occupational Health and Safety at the Lac Mégantic site in July 2013, during the dismantling of the damaged cars after the train wreck. He had performed recently more soil gas sampling projects.
