Biography

Stone Urban is a geologist for Geosyntec. His primary role is to aid in the development of geologic conceptual site models for contaminated groundwater sites using the Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy approach. He earned is Bachelors in geology from the University of Kansas and his Masters in geology from Oklahoma State University. During his academic career he catered his studies to stratigraphy/sedimentology and methods of subsurface investigation for hydrocarbon exploration and carbon sequestration.
