Biography

Donald Malone, PE, RSM is a Senior Engineering Consultant and Program Manager within Terracon’s Raleigh, North Carolina office. He brings 37 years of experience coordinating and directing the successful completion of soil and groundwater remediation projects under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Brownfields, and North Carolina regulatory programs. Mr. Malone’s primary responsibility is to drive projects to closure through the use of remedial alternatives evaluations and feasibiity studies, effective remedial designs, accurate cost estimates, and effective communications with project staff. He is an experienced project / program manager, regulatory expert, and Registered Site Manager in North Carolina’s Registered Environmental Consultant Program. His other areas of technical expertise include designing and supervising the installation of soil and groundwater remediation systems and vapor mitigation systems. Mr. Malone has been instrumental in evaluating sites for bioremediation potential through pilot testing, sample collection, data analysis, and biofeasibility testing.
