Biography

Dr. Erika Carter is a geologist and geochemist with over 20 years of experience. As Principal Geoscientist at Arcadis, her experience spans geologic and geochemical investigation, remedial strategy and implementation, and monitoring optimization for groundwater sites. Dr. Carter has recently participated in development of the Sentinel™ passive sampler for PFAS in environmental waters and the MinTrap™ sampler for precipitated minerals in aquifers. Dr. Carter holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Geology from the University of Michigan, where she specialized in watershed hydrogeochemistry. She received her B.A. degree in Geology from Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges.
