Biography

Kristen Hasbrouck is a Principal Hydrogeologist at Tandem Environmental, where she specializes in high-resolution site characterization and PFAS fate and transport. Her work supports complex environmental investigations and research across federal and private-sector programs, with a focus on strengthening technical approaches through collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams. Her expertise includes adaptive investigation design, hydrostratigraphic and geochemical interpretation, and contaminant mass flux and discharge analysis. Her current doctoral research at Western Michigan University focuses on advancing PFAS characterization methodologies and integrating high-resolution datasets into conceptual site models to improve understanding of contaminant behavior and inform remediation strategies.
