Biography

Jitendra Kewalramani, EIT, Ph.D. Environmental Engineer III Dr. Kewalramani is an Environmental Engineer with more than seven years of research and development experience in environmental technology innovation, design, and bench and field-scale treatability studies. Dr. Kewalramani has executed several research plans and treatability work for evaluating the treatment of PFAS and other environmental contaminants using a variety of different treatment processes including granular activated carbon (GAC), single-use and regenerable ion exchange (IX) resin, ultrasound, plasma, supercritical water oxidation (SCWO), thermal and non-thermal plasma, high-temperature advanced oxidation, galvanic process, traditional adsorptive Medias, and novel in-situ flushing processes. Also, he has co-developed the High-Frequency Ultrasound Technology Laboratory at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
